The Dun Wheeling PI mystery series, comprised to date of the four books noted above, are wry humor, fun read novels that contain mystery, murder, romance, and action adventure. 

Dun isn't your typical casehardened gumshoe with a crusty attitude toward life and women. Quite the opposite, he is young and inexperienced, stubborn and determined, and often more lucky (except with women) than he'd like to admit.

The Jennifer Paskin young adult mystery series, beginning with The Secret Stairway, highlights and expands one of the characters from the Dun Wheeling series.

Jennifer, a teenager rescued by Dun Wheeling from prostitution and drugs in the streets of Washington DC, doesn't need any more trouble in her life. But when strange noises develop at her school, it's more trouble than ever. 

Jennifer and her best friend, Rache, discover a huge ape of a man in a little-used storage room on their dorm floor. By the time they can notify the guards, the man has disappeared. How he got in and out of the room is a mystery which no one believes.

Curiosity leads Jennifer and Rache into trouble with the school headmistress. Curiosity temps them deep into the bowels of the school. And curiosity almost gets them killed as they match wits with professionals that will murder to keep their secrets.

And why hasn't the boy of her dreams called yet?

Jennifer Paskin mysteries - fun reads about a tough-nut teenager who discovers that getting into danger is easy - it's the getting out that poses the problem.
